Tanner Montano, who recently completed his freshman year at La Cueva High and is representing the New Mexico Jags Club, placed second in the boys 15-16 division long jump final with a wind-legal 23-9.50 (7.25m) performance at the USATF National Junior Olympic Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.
